Cancellation & Refund Policy

At SkillMe, we strive to ensure our interns have a transparent and smooth experience. Please read our policy regarding cancellations and refunds carefully.

1. Internship Program

The SkillMe open-source internship program is entirely free to join and participate in. There are no fees associated with applying, working on repositories, or receiving mentorship.

2. Certificate Processing Fee

The only fee collected on our platform is the optional Certificate Processing Fee (₹249), which is paid at the end of the internship in order to issue the verified Certificate of Completion and Letter of Recommendation.

Because the generation of these cryptographic certificates and documents is immediate upon payment, this processing fee is strictly non-refundable once the transaction is successful and the certificate has been issued.

3. Duplicate Payments or Errors

In the rare event of a technical error resulting in a duplicate charge, or if you were charged but the certificate was not generated, please contact our support team immediately. We will verify the transaction and initiate a refund for the duplicate amount within 5-7 business days.
